さこうかよこ Kayoko Sakoh
鹿児島市出身のコレオグラファー（振付師）/ダンサー。ニューヨーク市に在住し、ROD RODGERS DANCE COMPANY(ﾛｯﾄﾞﾛｼﾞｬｰｽﾞﾀﾞﾝｽｶﾝﾊﾟﾆｰ)のソリストを務める。モダンダンスを鹿児島のモダンダンスのパイオニア、ヤマダモダンダンス研究所の主宰山田みほ子氏に師事し、モダンダンスの基礎から公演まで多くを学ぶ。ニューヨークではアルビンエイリーアメリカンダンスシアターのANAMARIE FORSYTHE(ｱﾝﾏﾘｰ ﾌｫｰｻｲｽ)、MIGUEL GODREAU(ﾐｹﾞｰﾙｺﾞﾄﾞﾘｭｰ)、MILTON MYERS(ﾐﾙﾄﾝ ﾏｲﾔｰ)などにモダン及びジャズダンスを学び、バレエを、ジュリアード学院で４５年教え、ドイツのピナ・バウシュダンスシアターでバレエマスターを長年勤めたALFREDO CORVINO(ｱﾙﾌﾚｯﾄﾞｺﾙﾋﾞｰﾉ)氏に学ぶ。鹿児島市の芸術新人賞受賞。１９８６年からニューヨークに活動の場を移し、以来KRISTIN JACKSON DANCE, CHEN & DANCERS, ERNESTA CORVINO’S DANCE CIRCLE COMPANY他など様々なダンスカンパニーと踊る。ジャズミュージシャン、LEON PARKER(ﾘｵﾝ ﾊﾟｰｶｰ)のセントラルパークサマーステージの舞台振り付け及び公演なども手掛け、又コーラスシンガーとしてMR. PARKERの音楽アルバム、”THE SIMPLE LIFE”にも参加。ダンサーとして舞台公演を続ける傍ら、コレオグラファーとしての創作活動も活発に行っている。ニューヨークで振付けた作品はROD RODGERS DANCE COMPANYの公演プログラムでも多数踊られ、またSOLAR POWERED DANCE FESTIVAL, BROOKLYN ARTS EXCHANGE, DRA REMEMBER PROJECTなどのイベントに選抜され公演を行う。その他THE LAMAMA ETC., NYU, SCHOMBURG CENTER FOR RESEARCH IN BLACK CULTURE, HERE, THEATER FOR THE NEW CITYなどで公演される。2005年からKAYOKO SAKOH DANCEとしてＮＹと鹿児島で活動を始める。鹿児島では2006年３月に「さこうかよこのダンスワークショップ」をスタートし好評を得ている。2008年6月に鹿児島市において「ニューヨークから鹿児島へ Kayoko Sakoh Dance Performance」を開催。ニューヨークと鹿児島のアーティストのコラボを実現する。
KAYOKO SAKOH is a native of Japan. She started her dancing career with Mihoko Yamada in Kagoshima, Japan where she won a “New Artistic Talent” award. She began to embody her expressions by choreographing and performing dance.
In New York, she studied modern and jazz dance with Ann Marie Forsythe, Miguel Godreau at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, Milton Myers and has also studied ballet with Dr. Alfredo Corvino (faculty member of the Julliard School for 45 years and Ballet Master to Pina Bausch’s Tanztheater Wuppertal). Kayoko has performed with Kristin Jackson Dance, Chen & Dancers, Ernesta Corvino’s Dance Circle Company and others. Since October of 1993, she has been a dancer of the Rod Rodgers Dance Company (RRDC). Working with the RRDC, Ms. Sakoh has pursued her own language of dance as an individual choreographer. The pieces choreographed by her in New York have been performed at the Theater for New City, The LaMaMa Theatre, Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, NYU, Dance Space, HERE Arts Center, BAX (Brooklyn Arts Exchange), and Solar Powered Dance Festival. She choreographed a stage for jazz musician, Leon Parker for his Central Park Summer Stage in 1999 and also appeared in Mr. Parker’s CD, “The Simple Life” as a vocalist. Also Kayoko has had her dance workshop in Japan to exchange and communicate with local dancers through dance. In June of 2008, she had performances in Kagoshima, Japan with dancers from New York to introduce New York arts scene to Japanese audience, she collaborated with local dancers, musicians and artists in a cultural exchange.
鏡味名美Nami Kagami
名古屋市出身のダンサー。梶 昌子舞踊研究所を経て、ニューヨークのホフストラ大学にてダンス学を専攻、学士号を成績優秀で取得、卒業。Alvin Ailey American School、そしてPerrydance Schoolのダンスプログラムをも終え、ROD RODGERS DANCE COMPANYに所属、またYouth Workshopの指導にも携わる。キム・グリア氏のアシスタントとして、New York州の公立（小、中、高）学校、又大学にてダンス教育の指導にもあたる。
ジャマール・グリーンJamal Green
ジョージア州オーガスタ出身。ノースカロライナ州のエロン大学においてミュージックシアター科の学士号(BFA)を取得する。大学入学前に高校のシンフォニックバンドのパーカッシショニストとして日本を訪問。オーガスタの姉妹都市である宝塚市に主に滞在し、その他神戸や京都にも足を運び坂道が多いのに目を引かれる。大学卒業後ニューヨークに移り住む以前は、ネブラスカシアターキャラバンと共にアメリカ中西部で公演、またフィラデルフィアの劇場で公演する。ニューヨークではペーパーミルプレイハウス、ゲータウェイプレイハウス、メトロポリタンオペラなどの公演に出演する。
Jamal Green is from Augusta. GA. He has a BFA in Music Theatre from Elon University in North Carolina. Before college he toured Japan with his school's Symphonic Band as a Percussionist/Mallets Player. But spent the majority of that time in Takurazuka City which is Augusta's sister city in Japan. He also visited Kobe and Kyoto during his stay and noticed that here were a lot of hills. After college he toured the mid-western United States with the Nebraska Theater Caravan and worked with a Theater just out side of Philadelphia for a summer before moving to New York. While in New York Jamal has worked with a few smaller theater and dance companies also including The Papermill Playhouse and Gateway Playhouse and the Metropolitan Opera.
